Resources for Graduate Students
Students in the M.A. program are strongly encouraged to pursue funding from Ohio University or external sources to fund research for their thesis or professional projects.

The Graduate Student Senate administers two funds for research and travel.  Check the websites for guidelines and due dates.

There are many sources of external funding available for graduate student research.  Stanford University maintains a list of student funding opportunities in African Studies.
