The Ambassador was giving a lecture organized by the African Studies Program , which is part of the Center for  International Studies here in Ohio University. Addressing the   audience on the theme, An Ambassador’s life: Representing Botswana  in the United States , Madam Seretse, who holds a Bachelor of Law and an MA in Economics from the universities of Botswana  and Cincinnati respectively, as well as a BSC in Accounting and BA in Economics from Morgan State University, said she  has been impressed with the warm attitude and hospitality  of the American people since she arrived in the United  States for her appointment. She recounted how she was warmly welcomed by president Barrack Obama when she presented her credentials and letters of accreditation at the White House early February this year.
Answering questions at the end of her presentation, the Botswana Ambassador hailed her country as a good destination for investment and called on businessmen and women in other parts of the world to take advantage of the good investment climate in Botswana and do business there. She was grateful to Dr Steve Howard, Director of the African Studies Program for the opportunity to share her life experience with the students, faculty and staff of the university.
